It was the sneakiness detector. Yes, he has spent a lot of time under the console ... what can I say?

Have we actually had a scene of Ten under the console on the show? He's always playing with it, petting it, putting his feet on it, making out with it, but I can't remember him repairing it. There were at least a couple of scenes of Nine repairing stuff.

I think you may be right about that. Of course, he is too pretty to hide under the console. And one wouldn't want to further rumple the suit. :)
