The 4400 made me very, very nervous this week.  I'll readily admit I cried, and those of you who have seen the episode know when.  I've said I didn't ship anyone on this show, which isn't exactly the truth.  I didn't count Richard and Lily for obvious reasons lately.  Sniff.  Laura Allen, what, are you taking lessons in breaking my heart from Billie Piper?

Grumble.

Okay, so yes, Lily's still dead.  It sucks that I could get so worked up over that fact again!  But what troubles me about this episode is the whole Tom-as-the-Marked ... I am very, very nervous about this.

In short, here's my plea to the producers and writers:

Please don't fuck it up.

I am finally caught up on this show! I watched last week's and this week's in a row, and i think they really go together pretty well. So much so that i can't really remember what happened in which particular ep. Again, i'm surprised that this show goes the places it does. I really thought that Lily was back because Isabel was deaged, thus giving Lily youth (and life) again. I was also surprised they actually had the future dude take over Tom. Nuts.

However, I was not very moved by the whole sad scene thing. I never thought Richard and Lily had great chemistry, and the ship never really sat well with me. Maybe it was cuz he did her grandmom. *shudder*

That's so true. They say the things that we all think -- like April asking Tom if he had sexual fantasies about Diana. (I died laughing) or Kevin's comment about Jordan's messiah envy. Love them.

I'll trust them about the whole Tom thing because they have not let me down yet ... it's been an extraordinary show. And a thought occurred to me about it. What if he has to take promicin to get the invader out of his head? Hmm?

I'm very nervous about the Marked!Tom thing to. OMG, run Isabelle! RUN!
Am I a bad Rose fan to hope that if she comes back in s4 it'll be something like what happened with Lilly? Maybe, like, some remnant of her consioucness in the heart of the TARDIS contacts his mind when he's regenerating and tells him he'll see her again in his thirteenth body. Maybe she's his reward. Like his shanshu.(see Angel)
Cause I know that if she comes back too soon, she can't stay. And, dammit, I want them to have a happily ever after!

I'm personally rooting for someone to kick Isabelle's behind. Didn't like her as a baby, and I'm not much fonder of her as an adult. Creepy Creepy. And Kyle does not need to Go There. Nuh-uh.

Cause I know that if she comes back too soon, she can't stay. And, dammit, I want them to have a happily ever after!

I like rabid1st's idea of having Ten have the happily ever after with Rose, even offscreen, and then pop back to the show. I could live with that. It gives him the "I had it for a while, even if it's gone" comfort. ::snuffles::
