It's episode day!

I suspect that The Fires of Pompeii will be one of those episodes that I will like much better in hindsight than I did while watching it.  Not that I didn't like it -- I just had such high expectations for it in particular and while it met them, it didn't blow me away.  (Sorry for the pun.  Is it a spoiler to talk about the volcano?)

The Confidential this week was very interesting to me.  I love behind-the-scenes stuff and this was (for me at least) a very compelling tale about how they made such a visually rich episode happen.  Does anyone else love Phil Collinson as much as I do?  He seems like such a happy man.  And yeah, we got David Tennant in shorts and with sunglasses -- although black socks with shorts is not the fashion choice I would personally have recommended.

One last random bit -- I thought the actress who played Evelina looked startlingly like Jennifer Morrison.
