The Calm Before the Storm (Chapter Eighteen)

We're on the home stretch. I should be able to get chapters nineteen and twenty posted tomorrow and then Wednesday nights, with the epilogue on Thursday. That will conclude our tale, dear Reader. This time, I am serious. I am finishing chapter twenty at the moment, in which our heroes will leave the monastery and set out for adventures beyond.
