I watched 22 episodes of Lost in almost exactly eight days. I'm going to need to mull over the season in its entirety for a couple of days to let it process before the premiere on Thursday.
I've also spent a lot of quality time with ABC's HD streaming and while it's not bad, it's not perfect either. Hulu is much, much better. My major annoyances: not being able to resize the window to my liking and the commercials basically pausing so you have to deliberately click to continue. Granted, Hulu is still in an invite-only beta, but they seem to be giving out invites quickly enough if you sign up for one.

larissa_j . It's very pretty.

- I cried all through Greatest Hits. It's not at all helpful to know a character is going to die in advance. Of course Desmond had to witness his death; all of his visions have been things that he has seen with his own eyes. It also breaks my heart to think that Charlie died to save all of them and it was in vain.
- I loved Desmond from the moment Locke first saw him in the hatch, and I've never stopped. The fact that he was almost a monk is quite amusing to me. The idea of faithful Penelope, never really letting him go -- it's Greek, isn't it? I love them.
- Hurley got to be the hero. ::squishes him::
- Naomi as an infiltrator is cool but awfully poorly planned. They need never to trust strangers.
- Ben ... ah Ben. He reminds me of the Cigarette Smoking Man from The X-Files in the best way. Sardonic, quick-witted, and with a desperate, pessimistic view that he's doing the Right Thing and really is the good guy.
