this was all so sad, but this made me properly tear-fallin' weepy:

He slipped into the bed where she was not and pulled the blanket over himself, turning onto his side and scooting over to leave room for her.

gah. go for the gut!

but it was so beautiful. and with just that bit of hope that we need to. i'm sad to see it end. but excited for the sequel.
