You know, there's been some discussion of what peeves people have about fanfic, and you've stumbled across mine. I wasn't going to bring it up ... but yeah, the whole debate about what sort of underpants or not that the Doctor has just wears on me a little (if you'll pardon the truly horrible pun). You may be the only person to notice, or not, but you are most assuredly the only person to comment. Yup, it's deliberately ambiguous, and I LOVE the "Schroedinger's undies" comment. Perfect. That is exactly right. Fill in the blanks with whatever style (or lack thereof) suits you best.

My husband has a t-shirt that says "Schroedinger's cat is dead" on the front and "Schroedinger's cat is alive" on the back. At one point, he was wearing a coat, and a friend didn't see the back and got all excited because he thought he was taking a stand on the debate. Sadly, no. And neither am I. ;)
