Drabble #3: The Doctor's Vanity

My final drabble for the stump-me meme for queenrikki_hp , who requested domesticity and hair ruffling.  No spoilers at all for this one, although I did use one particular photo for inspiration.

Rose never managed to catch him at it.

She played casual, popping around corners, but he was a step ahead, always. One last preening touch of his hand against his sideburns, and a bright grin for her. Oh, he knew, he did.

"How much time do you spend on your hair?"

"Time," he mused. "Well …" and she stopped listening.

He was precisely disheveled. A perfect tendril of dark hair over his forehead, the soft flip backward at his brow. Not an accident.

So, she mussed. Deliberately.

Ah, she thought, happily, he was even more appealing freshly ruffled and indignant.

Lmao! That was great, you know he spends too much time on his hair. I mean, he experiments with back combing; any man who experiments with his hair cares more than the avarage man.
