Something's bugging me about the third series ...

I'll put my question under a cut, because I think there was something in the Doctor Who third series trailer that we didn't see.  Is that a spoiler? 

In the longer third series trailer back from right before 42, which I admittedly have not gone back and rewatched, I remember seeing the TARDIS orbiting a black hole.  I don't recall having seen that shot in the remainder of the series.  Is my memory flawed, or did I miss something? 

The only place I can think that it might have happened is at the end of The Family of Blood when the Doctor is meting out punishments on the family.  Of course, now the Doctor has the black hole whatzit from the Master, or did that get sucked back into the paradox reversal too?

I think the scene you're referring to is when the Doctor's punishing the family and pitches Mother of Mine out the TARDIS doors. It felt quite different out of context.

I think the scene that you're referring to does go with The Family of Blood episode where The Doctor was dealing out the punishments.

I think the specific punishment was for the Mother but I don't think it was a black hole... I think it was an "event horizon of a collapsing galaxy." I checked on Youtube for that clip.

I wouldn't be surprised if The Doctor still has The Master's black hole device... could come in handy in the future? ^_^

I wouldn't be surprised if The Doctor still has The Master's black hole device

I'm not sure if it would have stayed with him or gotten pulled back somehow in the paradox reversal. Also, now that I'm thinking about it, I think the actual devices were in the Toclafane rockets and the thingamajig that the Master had was a remote control of some sort.
