Settling in to read this properly (like the treat it is):

This is a very ingenious way of explaining Pete's appearance -- his "closing the loop" as it were. It's especially interesting because it raises more questions than it answers: it's not just that Pete became aware of his own timeline, but that he was able to communicate with his own previous self. No doubt he would consider his rescue of Rose to be the most important thing he ever does, but I wonder if he'll have any other hunches at other times? He didn't quite get Bad Wolfed, but it's not unlike it.

This human Doctor seems to be going through events of strong feeling in these stories. I liked this older, more determined Rose, who stands her ground and reserves the right to sacrifice herself for the Doctor, as he would sacrifice himself for her.
