You do a marvelous job of articulating Rose's conflicting emotions. I like how Rose is honest about her anger, and he tries to be honest too (or at least more honest that original Ten in JE, which doesn't take much.) The pain is still raw here, but the tenderness of their past and likely future is still visible.
