For the record ... I've loved Torchwood so far this series but I was incredibly disappointed in tonight's two episodes.  Not even the appearance of evil!Blythe (i.e. Bryan Dick) in the first one won me over.

I don't have much in the way of commentary for either tonight; I'm going to let them cogitate in my subconscious and see if I like them better after thinking about them for a while.

Hey, it worked with Napoleon Dynamite.

Seriously? You like Napolean Dynamite? I may have to rethink this friendship. I mean, I know we have our differences but a girl has her limits.

BTW, how did the DH "enjoy" the second episode?

ETA: I'm still downloading (and will watch tomorrow, as always.)

He was surprisingly fine with it but possibly more pissed off than I was at the ending. And that's all I'll say about that until you've watched it.

I disliked Napoleon Dynamite intensely when I watched it, and then, oddly, I found myself laughing about it days later. Go figure.

I was WONDERING where I knew Adam from!

AAAAHHHHHHH... the incestuous British actor system continues!

I did like that episode. Didn't care for Reset much, though.

Kevin Bacon has nothing on Equity.

Once my current drama disappears (whee), we're totally playing Six Degrees of David Tennant

Uh oh. I haven't watched yet, but this is not filling me with hope. I've mostly enjoyed Torchwood this year, too. I am just so massively out of the habit of watching TV that it's hard to get started each week.

I liked both episodes, though I thought "Adam" was a better story when BTVS did it, and "Reset" was a little slow in parts. But Martha was so awesome!

But Martha was so awesome!

I did like the way they wrote and portrayed Martha in this episode, and I wasn't impressed with her in Doctor Who. She was smart, had gumption, and was a good counterpoint for Jack and the others. If they keep writing her that way, I'll be happy.

Isn't that the truth? I wonder how much long-lasting damage the strike has done.

If only I could say I'd done something with all the free time. I guess I've been reading a lot...
